GoCreate for families

An adult creates the family studio and gives each child their own profile. Children do not need email addresses.

How it works

1. Create a family

Verify your email through adult sign-in. Open the children tab and add a profile for each child.

2. Connect a device

Choose Connect child’s device on the tablet. Approve its code under Devices in the parent dashboard. The child then chooses their avatar and enters their own PIN.

3. Follow their work

Set limits for each child under studio time. These apply to active use in GoCreate. The creations tab shows synced artwork.

One adult starts; each child gets a profile

Choose Create your family’s studio and verify your email. Open Children in the parent dashboard to add a profile.

Give each child an avatar and a PIN. They need neither an email address nor an adult account.
Already have a family? Sign in with the same adult email to find its existing profiles and artwork.

Connect a tablet once

On the same device: choose To the children’s studio in the parent dashboard and approve it for the children.

On a separate tablet, choose Connect child’s device. Approve its temporary code under Devices in the parent dashboard.
The child then selects their avatar and enters their PIN. Switch person lets the next child open their own studio.

What the child sees

Sketch opens the sketchbooks, Animate opens animation projects and Gallery brings together that child’s work.

Choose an app icon to start a project or continue a previous one.
Wait for the cloud-saved indicator before changing devices. Then open the same child profile on the other paired device.

See saved work and set studio time

Creations shows the child’s synced pictures and films. Studio time measures active use in the child profile, not other screen time.

Select the child, set minutes or an allowed time window and save. Weekdays and weekends can have different rules.
The child’s studio pauses when time runs out. A separate guest sketch is outside the child’s gallery and measured studio time.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. Open Sketch or Animate to try it. Guest work exists only in the open tab. Create an account to save it in your studio.

Can children create with a parent?

Yes. A family account gives each child a profile, their own work and studio time limits on paired devices.
